Last Friday I went with John Griffiths AM and Jayne Bryant AM to see the state of the art Zodiac plant at Llanwern which provides high-quality finished products for automotive customers including Jaguar, Land Rover, Nissan, and BMW. It was good to catch up with Reggie Gutteridge from Community and Mike from Unite too.

The steel industry is important to so many in Newport so it was good to see the class-leading work being done on the line at Llanwern.  I hope we will see much more investment at this site to help secure good quality jobs for our area in the future.
