Labour will scrap the Severn Bridge Tolls

Severn_Bridge_collage.jpg

The extortionate tolls on the Severn Bridges are one of the issues most often raised with me locally - and one of the issues I've campaigned on in Parliament the most.

I am delighted that after years of raising the issue of the cost of the Severn Bridges Tolls for constituents and businesses, the Labour manifesto has committed to working with the Welsh Labour Government to scrap the tolls.

I have consistently campaigned to force the Tory Government to act.  If you want to know more about the way in which I have campaigned on this issue please see the links below:

I lobbied Ministers with the Freight Transport Association, the Federation of Small Businesses, local businesses and on behalf of local constituents at a round table I organised in Parliament.

I have led debates

I have questioned Ministers
