Jess Helps Launch New Girl Guide Badge 24 September 2011

Jessica attended a Gwent Guiding event at Newport Wetlands to launch a New Girl Guiding Badge with RSPB and to celebrate the centenary year of RSPB Cymru. Jess, who was once a Queen's Guide, was also given a Guides Ambassador silver badge for her support of the Guides movement.

Jessica said “I am honoured to be a holder of an Ambassador silver badge. I was heavily involved in the Guides movement when I was younger, so I feel very attached to them. The new Girl Guide badge looks fantastic and I'm sure it will be great fun to attain it."

Jessica continued "It is also brilliant to be celebrating the centenary year of RSPB Cymru and there’s no better place to celebrate that landmark than at Newport Wetlands.”
