To ask the Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Change
(1) what recent assessment he has made of the prospects for harnessing energy from the Severn estuary;
(2) when he expects the Severn Tidal feasibility study to report.

We are currently considering the recommendations from the Severn Tidal Power Feasibility Study and expect to report our conclusions shortly.
