holocaustmemorialcrop.jpgToday is Holocaust Memorial Day and locally a memorial service is being held at Newport Cathedral. It’s a day to remember the millions killed in the Holocaust and mark the 70th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau.

Newport East resident Renate Collins from Rogiet, will be at the service in Cardiff today.  Her moving story is featured here in the South Wales Argus and is a poignant reminder of why we continue to come together and remember at events on Holocaust Memorial Day.
