It was great this week to be at the opening of Essence Hair and Beauty who have taken a shop in Caldicot Town Centre just in time for small business Saturday.

Small Business Saturday is a grass-roots campaign that encourages people to shop locally and support small businesses.  Now in its second year SMS was a big success in 2013 when it is estimated it drove around £500 million worth of trade to small businesses. Although the campaign was initiated by Labour it is not party political and has attracted support from all parties.
