Remembrance services in Newport and Severnside this weekend saw thousands of people paying their respect at the Newport Cenotaph, with services also in Magor & the sunset service at the Celtic Cross war memorial in Caldicot.

The role of the Merchant Navy was also remembered at the Newport Mission for Seafarers.
