I’m wearing pink to support the life-saving research being undertaken by Breast Cancer Now ahead of Wear It Pink Day on the 19th October.

There are 537 new cases of breast cancer each year in the Aneurin Bevan Healh Board area, an equivalent of 178.5 per 100,000 women – slightly above the Welsh average.

Breast Cancer Now is the UK’s largest breast cancer charity, funding research in four key areas: prevention of breast cancer, early detection and diagnosis, treatment, and secondary breast cancer.
