It was an honour to attend remembrance events across Newport East this weekend.
Attendance at remembrance events grows each year as more people of all ages choose to stand and reflect on the sacrifices made by our armed forces and the human cost of conflict. Remembrance is always an important and reflective time but this year is particularly poignant given it marks 100 years since the Armistice.
