I’d like to wish everyone in Newport East a happy and healthy New Year, and thank all the emergency service workers who have been hard at work over the Christmas period.

2019 promises to be another busy year in British politics, with the meaningful vote on the Brexit deal coming before Parliament this month. I’ll be also continuing to speak up for the people of Newport East in Parliament; raising local issues from steel to cross-border rail services, to the impact of the Universal Credit roll-out and cuts to police funding.
