I’m very pleased to have been elected as the new secretary for the All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on Rail in Wales.

The group serves as a forum for parliamentarians to discuss issues related to the rail network and industry in Wales. The group conducts specific inquiries, and hears directly from representatives of the rail industry.

I’m looking forward to working with APPG on Rail in Wales to lobby for improvements to rail services for long-suffering rail passengers and commuters in Newport East and Wales as a whole.
