I met with representatives from Airbus in Parliament this week at an event organised by ADS and the Aerospace Growth Partnership to highlight the value of the UK aerospace sector to national prosperity through supporting local jobs and skills.

Newport East is home to a large number of Airbus workers based in Newport and Filton, and it was good to hear about how the company plans to harness opportunities around electric and autonomous aircraft and the digitalisation of aviation.
