After an amazing programme of Newport Rising events celebrating the legacy of Chartism on the weekend, tonight our city remembers the sacrifice of the 22 who died in the Newport Rising 180 years ago.

The ceremony takes place at the graveyard memorial in Newport Cathedral @ 6pm.
