I’ve joined other Welsh MPs in calling on the UK Government to be clear about whether policy announcements on COVID-19 apply across the UK, or are England-only. In a letter to the Prime Minister convened by Rhondda MP Chris Bryant, we note the considerable confusion that exists around whether UK Government announcements apply in Wales, and calls on ministers to provide greater clarity in order to improve co-ordination across the UK. As the letter to the Prime Minister states, it’s imperative that all government websites, advice notes, policy announcements and media campaigns make absolutely clear what applies where.
