Last night I voted against the 2nd reading of the Immigration Bill. As Shadow Home Secretary Nick Thomas-Symonds MP quite rightly pointed out from the front bench, we can’t clap for carers every Thursday then call them low skilled and make them unwelcome the next Monday.
