Did you know that four in ten people have never heard of Pension Credit? 
Independent Age have estimated that across #NewportEast that 1,531 pensioners who haven’t applied for this support.
This #TalkMoneyWeek it’s more important than ever to be aware of what support it out there for either yourself or someone you know.
So what exactly is Pension Credit? If you’re eligible, Pension Credit will give you extra money and opens up access to other benefits including Housing Benefit, Council Tax Reduction, money off your bills from the Warm Home Discount Scheme and Welsh Water and Cold Weather Payment schemes, a free television licence for people aged 75+.
