Today, Newport Cycle Speedway Club hosted day 1 of the British Speedway Championships at Newport International Sports Village.

What a great way to spend an afternoon in the Club’s 75th anniversary year!

The club and track (which you’ll find next to the Velodrome) is run by a very dedicated group of volunteers – big thanks to them for their commitment to promoting the sport in all age groups.

There are only two clubs in Wales both in Newport East (the other is in Underwood).
