Today in Parliament I met with Alzheimer’s Research UK to hear from people affected by dementia. An estimated 957 people in Newport East are living with dementia according to Alzheimer’s Research UK. This #WorldAlzheimersMonth I’m asking the government to deliver on the promise to double the funding for dementia research for them and their families.
