Menopause debate
Menopause debate
I spoke in this afternoon’s Menopause Awareness Month debate to support the call for a ‘Menopause Revolution’ across policy-making to finally address the personal, social and professional impact of the menopause on the lives of women across the UK.
In the debate, I spoke about the challenges menopausal symptoms pose to women in the workplace, and the close links between menopause and osteoporosis, the debilitating ‘silent disease’ which affects 3.5 million people across the UK.
