Today in the House of Commons, I was proud to take part in the Welsh Affairs Debate, which was secured by Caerphilly’s Wayne David MP.

I spoke about the incredible efforts of constituents in Newport East when the call went out for aid for Ukraine, as well as the incredible efforts of both Newport and Monmouthshire Councils during the pandemic and as we move into the post-pandemic years.

I also spoke about the Tory cost-of-living crisis here in Wales, the impact of the pandemic on hospitality in the area and how the Conservative government really need to do more to support our steel industry.
