In Treasury Questions today, I asked the Chancellor about some of the concerns that have been shared with me by care homes, businesses and other housing services around the energy price rises they’ll find themselves faced with in April. In the spirit of Christmas (perhaps?), the Chancellor’s answer was half decent (making a change from a minister in this government!).

Let’s see if what he said is actually anything more than warm words – I’ll be keeping an eye!
