Last night, despite the Tories whipping against we passed Diana Johnson’s amendment to speed up payments to those affected and effected by the Contaminated Blood Scandal. Massive well done to Diana – this means a lot to families like my friends the Smiths from Newport who I spoke about again in yesterday’s debate. As always, they have my absolute admiration for their dedicated campaigning and dignity.
