It was wonderful to meet up with the incredible Renate again today in Parliament. She was one of the 669 children rescued from the Nazis by Sir Nicholas Winterton, whose story has recently been dramatised for the big screen, starring Sir Anthony Hopkins.

Previously a Newport East constituent, her story is just incredible and reminds us all why we should never forget the Holocaust and its legacy.
