A few weeks ago, in the chamber, I raised the case of a constituent who, for personal reasons, chose not to report an assault to the police. Even though the Victim’s Code states that she should still have access to support services, she found it difficult to access the support she needed. I’ve since raised this with the Minister in a face-to-face meeting and will report to the constituent on her response.
