The graphic says Your Neighbourhood. Your Voice matters

Every day in Westminster, I speak to ministers across the Government about the issues residents raise with me, so I’m incredibly pleased that the UK Government has announced an additional £20 million of funding for Newport. That’s £2 million a year for the next ten years.

Residents will decide how it’s spent, ensuring that local people’s priorities are at the heart of our city’s future.

I want to know what matters most to you, whether that’s tackling anti-social behaviour, dealing with bad landlords who leave properties to rot in our city, improving safety, sorting out street parking, protecting green spaces, bringing community facilities back into use, developing more sports facilities, creating more activities for young people, families and older people, or anything else.

I’ll take your views and pass them on to the new Neighbourhood Board, which will be set up to decide how this money is allocated.

Your views will help me and the Neighbourhood Board determine how best to spend this money to meet the needs of the community and build pride right across the city.

So, how would you spend £2 million this year to improve your area?

Tap here to tell me how you would spend this money in your neighbourhood to restore pride in the place you live.

I will ensure your voice is heard clearly at every opportunity.
