Last week, I met with representatives of Community Union at their Regional Forum to talk about steel and the government’s ongoing work to protect the UK steel industry. One of the main issues – EU steel tariffs – was at the top of the list of concerns, so today in the chamber, I asked the minster what work the government was doing to protect steelmaking in the UK.
