🗳 I voted to keep the Lord’s Amendment to the bill which would prevent private companies from being able to pollute rivers and waterways with sewage.

 🌳 The Conservatives, however, voted for a weaker amendment on raw sewage discharges that ministers claimed would stop sewage polluting our rivers and waterways without giving a specific number or target of how much would be stopped.

 🌹  Labour wants stronger measures to end raw sewage discharges into rivers and seas and will continue to push for faster and bolder action to protect our environment.
