Not everybody knows what an MP can do to help them. This #TalkMoneyWeek I thought it would be a good opportunity to highlight what my team and I can do to help.
Here’s just a few of the things I’ve been able to help #NewportEast constituents with recently:
💬 Raised concerns and issues surrounding the cut to Universal Credit in debates and questioned ministers
💷 Helped people with their problems receiving pensions and other benefits
🤒 Supported people dealing with issues such as changes to pay or their entitlement to sick pay
📝 Took up consumer issues such as delays receiving refunds
⚡️ Assisted people with issues relating to their energy bills and accessing support schemes such as the Warm Home Discount
