The government needs to step up to save Post Offices

Many constituents from Caldicot have been in touch with me regarding the closure of the Post Office that’s located in the McColl’s branch in the town centre.
Post Offices provide a valuable service to so many in our communities – particularly those who rely on in-person banking services.
Last week, I wrote to the Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy to ask that he considers improving funding for the Post Office in order to allow branches to be opened when franchised counters are closed.
